Remote planning for a coastal family celebrating their daughter’s Bat Mitzvah in multiple cities over multiple weekends .
When the guest of honor moves across the country you “bring the party”- literally. 4 events in 3 days kicked off “Vivian on Tour!” The tour includes 3 distinct weekend events in 3 different cities, that each held significance, for this lovely bat mitzvah girl and family.
Abeles & Company worked remotely with the family who relocated to the West Coast on ideation, venue selection, vendor management, hotel blocks, out of town guest amenities and more for 2 legs of Vivian’s 3 city “tour” experience.
The St. Louis leg of the tour included: a traditional Shabbat dinner on Friday, a luncheon and party for close friends and family on Saturday and a brunch Sunday morning.
A private night club served as the venue for the Asian themed Saturday night party complete with onsite sushi rolling, an interactive hibachi dinner experience, specialty boba tea station, pick up desserts, indoor/outdoor space for games and dancing.
The Lake of the Ozarks leg of the tour included: a St. Louis based DJ, emcee and dancers traveled in to party the night away with the 500+ campers/staff. We also brought in (2) photo booths, customized swag and glo in the dark everything for a magical night under the stars.
When an industry leader in software solutions engages you in providing their vendors and clients in an interactive event focused on innovation and engagement you got to DELIVER.
Our client was hosting their first vendor/client appreciation event at a “Driving Innovation” themed conference. We literally “hit the road” with the theme and centered our concept, event design and keynote speaker around that theme. We secured the former CEO of a luxury motorcycle brand who had recently authored a book about his experience at the helm of the storied company, secured space at one their local dealership where guests could test drive their vehicles and decided to theme decor around innovative interventions.
Guests and our client alike were blown away by the speaker and the experience. The keynote was phenomenal and the guests remarked how organic it felt to be alongside the products/and company he (the former CEO) was responsible for overseeing and turning around during his tenure. Plus the test rides were so unexpected and fun for the guests, it was truly a joy to see everyone let loose and immerse in the experience.
Our nonprofit ballet client was moving their annual gala back "home" to the performing arts center where their ballet was performed. There was some concern that a new date pattern, pricing model and intimate space would hinder the flow of the evening and negatively impact fundraising.
Like it’s counterpart in NYC, the ballet modified the format of its annual gala to include a full-length performance with a live musical accompaniment prior to its formal gala program. After a magical performance of The Sleeping Beauty guests enjoyed cocktails, dinner, a loving tribute to longtime supporters, a triumphant fund the need paddle raise and exciting auction to close the evening. The audience was invested and enthusiastic in supporting the ballet!
Abeles & Company provided event and fundraising strategy, as well as production services to help guide SLB as the organization introduced a new event model and pricing structure in a more intimate venue. The enchanted evening featured romantic, storybook like florals, linens and décor as an ode to the ballet performance of The Sleeping Beauty. Mission moments and stories of impact were choreographed into the evening’s program and script to keep the audience engaged and invested. Similarly a live “thermometer” was introduced during fund the need to help guests keep track of the fundraising progress throughout the evening.
We're obsessed with helping people celebrate and do something to make themselves/others feel special and recognized. Finally, you can celebrate without the stress.
